The One & Only River Kwai Jungle Rafts Experience

"You can use us as a testimonial anytime, we had so much fun at Jungle Rafts, it was very worthwhile tour and Jungle Rafts is very cool. We are really glad we went to such a unique place"                                                                     -  Darlene, Vancouver, Canada

Everything is taken care of and made easy for you on this fun relaxing 3 day / 2 night Join-In Tour Adventure. Guests are picked up at your hotel in Bangkok!

Similar to other River Kwai tours, an affordable Jungle Rafts experience includes an exploration of the moving history of the historic River Kwai with visits to the World War II sites that inspired the famous 1957 movie, “The Bridge on the River Kwai" which depicted the Allied POWs and Asian workers while building the 258-mile rail line known as the “Death Railway.”

The River Kwai Jungle Rafts Resort is a unique floating hotel in the middle of the River Kwai and it offers you a rustic experience you won’t find anywhere else. There is no electricity here, guests use Kerosene lamps in the evening! You’ll wake each morning to find elephants bathing on the river’s shoreline.  While at the River Kwai Jungle Rafts Resort you may want an optional trip to visit the famous Lawa Cave where mammoth stalactites reach nearly to the cave’s floor.

About Jungle Rafts

Tourism Authority of Thailand has called Jungle Rafts the “Unseen Paradise” an award in 2011.  The resort has  earned TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence. Each of the 110 guest rooms in this isolated location offers intimate views of tropical forests and mountains. You’ll discover a world of jungle adventures at the River Kwai Jungle Rafts Resort, including options such as elephant riding, hiking, swimming and bamboo rafting. Beautiful tropical waterfalls are nearby. Visit an ancient Mon temple and contemporary Mon village. There is sure to be moments when you realize that this isn’t an ordinary vacation. You may face some difficult decisions. Should I ride an elephant, swim in the river, go hiking or canoeing or just relax and have a cold beer?

Guest rooms have private bathrooms and balconies with hammocks. Each room is furnished in a traditional Mon style, with wooden furniture and bamboo-woven mats and walls. Rooms accommodate up to three people, with a choice of triple, twin or double beds. The average room size is 300 square feet.
